September: Veg-curious and new beginnings 🥦

September has been an exciting month for EA Barcelona, featuring plenty of plants, proteins and passionate university students, as well as a trip to Berlin. We hope it brings back good memories and inspires those who have been missing in action lately to join us at an event soon!

Veg-curious: Learn, empower and taste!

This dynamic event included presentations by Ricard Soler on his shift to effective altruism and Anne Reshetnyak on nutrition and meat alternatives. Then, our star chefs Camilla Ariano and Anthony Lara demonstrated their approach to plant-based cooking, focusing on unleashing the power of plant proteins and umami flavors. We left inspired and full of ideas (and great food!) 😋 If you’d like a more complete recap, see this Linkedin post.

Here are some more pics because we just can’t get enough :D

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this wonderful event, which took place in the beautiful Apocapoc Nest City Lab as part of their Good Deed Saturday 💚 We look forward to future collaborations!

Altruisme Efectiu UAB

Lukas Robertson organised the inaugural event for his new EA university group Altruisme Efectiu UAB. It featured yet another great talk by Pablo Rosado about the world’s biggest problems, and how to steer your career towards impact. We look forward to seeing how AE UAB evolves, Lukas!

EA Barcelona is represented at EAGx Berlin!

We were very happy to see these 5 smiling faces representing EA Barcelona at the EAGx Berlin conference on 13-15 September. We hope you learned loads whilst making lots of valuable new connections, and that you got some new inspiration for your work and studies, too!
